After Azerbaijan stuck back and won the second match it came down to the Armageddon decider on the women’s board. Monica Socko downed Gunay Mammadzada in a nail-biter riddled with mutual mistakes and pulled Poland through to the semifinals.

India defeats Armenia and advances to semifinals

Following the disconnection of Haik Martirosyan in Match 1 of the Quarterfinal against India, Armenia filed an official appeal that was rejected by the Appeals Committee. Armenia defaulted Match 2. As a result, India is through to the semifinals.
